Tuberculate Cuttlefish [Sepia tuberculata]
Description
Divers often spot this cuttlefish cruising just above sandy or weedy bottoms, using quick bursts of jet propulsion to reposition. Its skin can rapidly change texture and color, and the distinctive bumpy “tuberculate” look may be visible when it’s close and calm.
