Slender-foot Cuttlefish [Sepia subtenuipes]
Description
Slender-foot cuttlefish can be surprisingly hard to spot at first, thanks to their ability to mimic the texture and color of nearby rocks or seagrass. Divers who watch closely may see them “hover” and then perform short bursts of movement, using their ink defense if threatened.
