Broadback Cuttlefish [Sepia savignyi]
Description
Broadback cuttlefish are masters of disguise, using rapid color and texture changes to blend into sandy or rocky bottoms. Divers may spot them hovering just above the substrate, then slowly “writing” with their arms as they investigate the seafloor.
