Sepia irvingi [Sepia irvingi]
Description
This cuttlefish can be surprisingly hard to detect until it moves—then its jetting escape and quick arm movements become obvious. Under good visibility, divers may see bold flashes of pattern during brief threat or courtship-like displays before it returns to near-perfect camouflage.
