Brazil Reef Octopus [Octopus insularis]
Description
Divers often spot this reef octopus tucked into rock crevices, emerging with quick, curious movements as it scans the surroundings. When it feels safe, it may slowly patrol the bottom or hover near its den, using dramatic color changes and posture to blend in with the reef.
