Chestnut Octopus [Octopus conispadiceus]
Description
The Chestnut Octopus often appears as a warm brown, mottled cephalopod that patrols the seafloor near shelters. Divers may notice it extending an arm to investigate the substrate, then quickly retreating into a den as it adjusts its camouflage to match the background.
