Octopus argus [Octopus argus]

Octopus argus is known for its striking, mottled appearance that can look like a constellation of spots when it’s alert. Divers may spot it perched on the seafloor or half-emerged from a hiding spot, using camouflage and rapid arm movements to hunt and to avoid detection.
