Bignose Shark [Carcharhinus altimus]

Bignose Shark
Description

As its name suggests, the Bignose Shark has a noticeably broad, rounded snout that gives it a striking face. Divers sometimes encounter it on deeper reef slopes or along drop-offs, where it glides with controlled, deliberate movements rather than sudden bursts.
