Striped Eel Catfish [Plotosus lineatus]
Description
Striped eel catfish are long, flexible swimmers with striking dark-and-light striping that helps them blend into reef shadows. Divers may see them hovering near sandy patches or slipping between rocks, using their eel-like body to move quietly and efficiently.
