Bumphead Parrotfish [Bolbometopon muricatum]
Description
Bumphead parrotfish are among the largest parrotfish you’ll ever see, with a heavy, rounded forehead and powerful beak-like jaws. Divers often spot them cruising slowly over reefs or pausing to graze on algae, sometimes creating a fine cloud of sediment as they feed.
