Bristly Puffer [Arothron hispidus]
Description
The Bristly Puffer has a rough, bristled texture that makes it look slightly “spiky” even when it isn’t inflated. Divers may notice it moving with a steady, deliberate pace, often pausing to inspect the seafloor. If approached too closely, it can puff up, changing its shape and making it a memorable encounter.
