Lined Surgeonfish [Acanthurus lineatus]

Lined Surgeonfish
Description

Lined Surgeonfish are sleek, brightly patterned fish that cruise close to reef edges and seagrass beds. Divers often notice their bold striping and the distinctive “scalpel” on their tail as they pause to graze on algae. They’re usually calm and curious, making for great close-up viewing when they swim into your path.
