Pacific Stalked Jellyfish [Haliclystus stejnegeri]
Description
This species is a stalked jellyfish found in the North Pacific Ocean. It is often found attached to eelgrass and other types of seaweed. It has a bell-shaped body with eight arms, each tipped with clusters of tentacles. Each tentacle ends in a sticky pad used for catching prey. Its body is typically green or brown and semi-transparent.
