Kelp Stalked Jellyfish [Haliclystus kerguelensis]
Description
This species is a stalked jellyfish known to inhabit the Southern Ocean. It is typically found attached to kelp and other types of seaweed. It has a bell-shaped body with eight arms, each tipped with clusters of tentacles. Each tentacle ends in a sticky pad used for catching prey. The body is typically translucent with a range of colors including green, brown, and red.
