Finger Miter [Pterygia dactylus]
Description
Divers may spot this miter snail clinging to rocky or sandy bottoms, often with a slender, finger-like shell shape. It tends to blend in with the substrate, but when you get close you can see the shell’s distinct form and texture. Look for it in calmer, sheltered areas where it can remain undisturbed.
