Aplidium conicum [Aplidium conicum]

Description

This tunicate species can appear as small, conical or finger-like projections within a colony, giving it a distinctive shape when viewed closely. Divers may find it on rocky substrates, where the colony’s form and texture make it easier to spot than many other “plain” sessile animals.
