Description

The Cauliflower Jellyfish is a large and colorful jellyfish species belonging to the Cepheidae family. It is also commonly known as the crown jellyfish. It is easily recognizable by its dome-shaped bell that closely resembles a cauliflower, hence the name. Predominantly blue in color, it has a crown of tentacles that are arranged in a circular pattern. This species is found in the warm, tropical waters of the Pacific and Indian Oceans. It feeds on small fish and plankton, capturing them with its stinging tentacles.
