Eudendrium klausi [Eudendrium klausi]

Description

Divers may spot this hydroid as a delicate, branching colony that can look like a small underwater “tree” or lacework. Its fine stems often rise from the substrate, and tiny feeding polyps can extend to catch passing food particles, giving the colony a subtle, living texture.
