Eudendrium fruticosum [Eudendrium fruticosum]
Description
Divers often notice this species as a delicate, branching hydroid that forms small, upright tufts on rocks or other hard surfaces. Under good light it can look like a miniature forest of fine stems, sometimes with tiny tips that give it a slightly “fuzzy” look. It’s a classic example of how hydroids can add texture and movement to otherwise still reef scenery.
