Eudendrium deforme [Eudendrium deforme]
Description
Divers often notice this species as a delicate, branching hydroid that forms small, irregular tufts or clumps on hard substrates. Its colonies can look slightly “messy” or uneven, with fine stems rising from a base and tiny feeding polyps along the branches. In clear water, it can be surprisingly eye-catching against rocks, shells, or seagrass.
