California Stickhydroid [Eudendrium californicum]
Description
Divers may spot this hydroid as a delicate, twig-like branching colony that can look like a small underwater “bush” or stick cluster. It often grows on hard substrates such as rocks, shells, or man-made structures, and its fine branches can sway gently with the current.
