Parazoanthus douglasi [Parazoanthus douglasi]

Description

Divers often spot this species as small, clustered colonies of soft-looking polyps that can form neat patches on rocks or other hard substrates. In good light, the polyps may appear as a textured “carpet” of tiny openings, with color tones that can vary by location and water conditions.
