Palythoa haddoni [Palythoa haddoni]

Description

Often seen as a dense, encrusting colony, Palythoa haddoni can look like a tightly packed field of small polyps on rock or reef structures. Divers may notice it more clearly in certain light or current, when the polyps appear slightly more raised and the colony’s texture becomes pronounced.
