Cauliflower Coral [Pocillopora verrucosa]
Description
Pocillopora verrucosa forms knobby, cauliflower-like clumps with many small branches that look almost fuzzy from a distance. Divers often spot it in sheltered reef areas where the coral’s tight structure provides cover for tiny reef fish and invertebrates.
