Ten Coral [Madracis kirbyi]
Description
Divers often spot Ten Coral as small, branching or finger-like corals that form tidy patches on reef slopes. Its surface can look subtly textured, and in good light it may show a delicate, fingered silhouette against the surrounding sand or rubble. Because it grows in sheltered reef areas, it’s a common “reef detail” coral that rewards slow, careful finning.
