Chinese Lettuce Coral [Mycedium robokaki]
Description
Divers often spot this coral as broad, leafy-looking sheets that resemble underwater lettuce. Its surface is made of many small, tightly packed coral polyps, giving it a textured, velvety look. In clear water, it can be especially striking as it sways gently with the current.
