Favites micropentagonus [Favites micropentagonus]
Description
As the name suggests, divers may see very small, tightly arranged corallites that give the colony a crisp, finely patterned look. The coral’s compact growth makes it a great place for small reef creatures to hide, and its texture adds a lot of visual interest on reef walls and slopes.
