Lobed Cactus Coral [Lobophyllia robusta]
Description
Lobed Cactus Coral forms thick, bumpy mounds with rounded lobes that can look like a cactus from above. Divers often notice the fleshy texture and the way the coral’s surface catches light, with small mouths (polyps) giving it a subtly “speckled” look. In clear water, its sturdy growth makes it a standout reef feature.
