Cycloseris fragilis [Cycloseris fragilis]
Description
As its name suggests, this species can look delicate—often forming a thin, disk-like coral that sits low on the substrate. Divers may observe a delicate, patterned surface with small ridges or valleys, along with color tones ranging from pale tan to brown. It’s commonly encountered on reef flats and slopes, where it can be easy to miss until you’re close.
