Cycloseris boschmai [Cycloseris boschmai]
Description
Cycloseris boschmai is a disc-shaped stony coral that can resemble a smooth, rounded plate with a subtle, textured surface. Underwater, divers often spot it in sheltered reef areas where it sits low and compact, sometimes with a faintly patterned center. When conditions are right, it can look especially striking against surrounding rubble or sand.
