Large Flower Coral [Mussa angulosa]
Description
Large Flower Coral gets its name from the way its polyps can resemble clustered “flowers” across the colony’s surface. Divers often see a bold, meaty texture with distinct corallite patterns that create a lively, patterned look. When the polyps are extended, the colony can appear more dimensional and vibrant, especially in moderate current.
