Cylindrical Finger Coral [Porites cylindrica]
Description
As the name suggests, Porites cylindrica grows as finger-like columns or short cylinders, giving the reef a distinctive vertical texture. Divers may spot small polyps and subtle color variation across the colony, along with the reef life that gathers around its sturdy, fingered framework.
