Hump Coral [Porites cumulatus]

Hump Coral
Description

Porites cumulatus builds up into stacked, mound-like growths that resemble little heaps or domes. Underwater, its compact structure creates nooks and shaded surfaces where tiny organisms cling and where curious fish may hover close by.
