Anemone Coral [Goniopora ciliatus]
Description
This species is recognizable by its many slender polyps that can project like tiny fingers from the coral’s surface. Underwater, divers may see the polyps gently waving in the current, creating a delicate, rhythmic motion. It’s a great reef indicator species for divers who enjoy close-up, texture-rich coral life.
