Disc Coral [Turbinaria radicalis]
Description
This disc coral often grows in thicker, more robust-looking plates, with a textured surface that can appear almost “sculpted.” Underwater, divers may see it anchored firmly to the substrate, sometimes with edges that look more pronounced than neighboring corals. Its sturdy form makes it a reliable landmark on rocky or reef-flat areas.
