Tubastraea dendroida [Tubastraea dendroida]

Description

This species commonly shows up as branching, tree-like clumps that can carpet rocks, pilings, or other hard surfaces. Underwater, the colony’s shape can resemble small coral shrubs, with many rounded tips. Divers may notice it thriving in areas where light is available, often standing out with warm, golden to orange tones.
