Dendrophyllia florulenta [Dendrophyllia florulenta]

Description

Often found as branching or bushy colonies, this coral can look like a delicate underwater bouquet. Divers may notice the polyps giving the branches a speckled, “flower-like” texture from up close. It’s a rewarding species to examine slowly, especially when light catches the colony’s contours.
