Porcelain Coral [Leptoseris striata]
Description
Divers often spot this porcelain coral as small, plate-like or encrusting patches with delicate, maze-like surface textures. Its pale, “porcelain” look and fine ridges make it stand out on rocky slopes, where it grows slowly and forms subtle habitat for tiny reef dwellers.
