Pore Coral [Montipora grisea]
Description
This species is often noticed for its compact, encrusting growth and its fine, pore-filled surface. Underwater, Montipora grisea can look like a grayish mosaic of tiny holes, with the pores creating subtle shadows that add depth to the colony. Divers frequently find it on reef slopes and sheltered areas where it can spread and form textured patches.
