Montipora conicula [Montipora conicula]
Description
Divers may see this species as small, conical bumps that give the colony a “cushioned” or pebbled appearance. Depending on the site, it can grow in tight clusters that add height and texture to the reef. When you hover and change your angle, the cones and shadows become especially striking.
