Acropora globiceps [Acropora globiceps]
Description
Acropora globiceps can catch your eye with its more rounded, bulb-like branch tips compared to many other branching acroporids. Divers may notice the colony forming a textured mound or branching mass that breaks up the light into shimmering patterns. The structure provides plenty of hiding spots for small reef life, especially in calmer, sheltered reef areas.
