Acropora acuminata [Acropora acuminata]
Description
Acropora acuminata typically grows in branching forms with pointed tips, giving it a distinctive, “needle-like” look. Divers may see it surrounded by small reef organisms—especially fish that dart in and out of the branches—while the coral’s surface reflects light in shimmering patterns.
