Thenarian Burrowing Anemone [Actinothoe gracillima]
Description
Divers may spot this small anemone tucked into sandy or muddy bottoms, where it can look like a delicate, living tuft emerging from the substrate. When you get close, its tentacles can gently sway with the current, giving the impression of a tiny underwater flower anchored in place.
