Edwardsia meridionalis [Edwardsia meridionalis]
Description
Divers may spot this sea anemone-like coral relative as a delicate, often low-profile animal anchored to rocky or hard substrates. Look for subtle, feathery tentacles that can sway gently with the current, giving the impression of a living “brush” on the seafloor. It’s a great example of how small, cryptic life can still be full of movement underwater.
