Sea Nettle [Chrysaora pentastoma]
Description
This species can be recognized by its distinctive bell shape and the way its tentacles stream behind as it drifts. Divers may spot it during calm swims when it floats through the water column like a slow, floating umbrella. Even when it looks graceful and translucent, treat it as a stinging animal and keep your hands and fins well away.
