Cannonball Jelly [Stomolophus fritillarius]
Description
Divers may spot this jellyfish drifting like a slow, floating “cannonball,” with a bell that can look thick and rounded. Its tentacles trail beneath, and when it moves, the bell pulses in a way that makes it seem to glide rather than swim.
