Umbrella dumbo octopus [Grimpoteuthis umbellata]
Description
Umbrella dumbo octopus gets its name from the way its body and arms can look spread or “umbrella-like” when it’s at rest or maneuvering. In the deep, divers may see it hovering with fins extended, giving a surprisingly graceful, almost floating motion.
