Grimpoteuthis angularis [Grimpoteuthis angularis]
Description
This dumbo octopus species can be recognized by its fin-like projections and the way it moves with slow, controlled gliding motions. Under low-light conditions, it may appear as a soft, rounded shape against the seafloor, with arms held out as if feeling the environment without rushing.
