Cirrate Octopus [Cirroteuthis muelleri]
Description
This deep-sea cirrate octopus is a rare treat for divers, often appearing as a slow-moving, floating silhouette in the water column. Divers may notice its long, ribbon-like cirri trailing from the arms, giving it a delicate, almost ghostly look as it drifts and probes the water.
