Digitosepia roeleveldi [Digitosepia roeleveldi]
Description
Divers searching shallow to mid-depth habitats may spot this cuttlefish tucked near the seafloor, where it blends in with patches of sand, shell, and rubble. Its skin can shift patterns and tones in seconds, making it surprisingly hard to see until it moves. With patience, you might observe it stalking small prey just above the bottom.
